FAQ

Can the dashboards be customized?

Yes. Every RentViewer plan comes with pre-built dashboards. If you need additional KPIs or a custom layout, we can extend or build dashboards specifically for your business. Many of our clients start with the Command Center and then add custom dashboards as they grow.

There will usually be an extra charge for customization.

How long does it take to set up?

Most Starter and Standard plans are set up within 1–2 weeks once we connect to your property management system. Enterprise (Asset Management Studio) implementations may take longer depending on the size and complexity of your portfolio.

What if I use both cash and accrual basis accounting?

Not a problem. RentViewer can pull both cash and accrual views of your data. You can toggle between the two in your dashboards to get the perspective you need.

What if I have more than one property management system?

We can combine data from multiple systems (Yardi, AppFolio, Entrata, Rent Manager, or even custom sources) into one set of dashboards. This gives you a single view of your entire portfolio, no matter how it’s managed.

Do I need Power BI already?

No. We set everything up for you. If your team doesn’t already have Power BI licenses, we’ll guide you on how to get started.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. You can start small with the Free Trial or Starter Plan and move up to Standard or Enterprise as your portfolio and reporting needs grow.

What dashboards are included in each plan?

The Starter Plan includes 5 pre-built dashboards (P&L, Revenue, Expenses, Occupancy, Delinquency & Collections). The Standard Plan expands to 10 dashboards covering additional KPIs such as rent growth and trends. Enterprise gives you unlimited dashboards plus the ability to customize.
